HILLSBORO, Kan. – Seniors Amanda Faber, Amanda Brown and freshman Rebecca Faber were honored by the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference as they earned All-Conference honors for their performances this past season for the Bluejays women's tennis team.

 

Amanda Faber (Hillsboro, Kan.) a four-year, all-conference performer was named First Team All-Conference for the second consecutive year in a row. This past season she compiled a 25-11 record overall (11-6 in Singles, 14-5 in doubles) while playing No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles for the Bluejays.

 

Faber was also named the KCAC women's tennis player of the week on her way to a runner-up finish in No. 1 singles, while winning the KCAC No. 1 doubles title with fellow teammate Brown in the conference individual tournament.

 

Becky Faber (Hillsboro, Kan.) sister of Amanda Faber capped off an impressive freshman season as she was named Second Team All-Conference. This past season she compiled a 24-12 record overall (12-6 in Singles, 12-6 in doubles) while playing No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles for the Bluejays.

 

Becky Faber earned a runner-up finish in No. 2 singles and a third place finish in No.2 doubles with fellow teammate Anna Friesen in the KCAC individual tournament.

 

Brown (Hillsboro, Kan.) earned her second consecutive all-KCAC award as she was named Second Team All-Conference.  This past season she compiled 22-6 record overall (9-3 in Singles, 13-3 in doubles) tops amongst all Tabor tennis players while playing No. 3 singles and No. 1 doubles for the Bluejays.

 

Brown took home the No. 3 singles title as well as the No. 1 doubles title with A. Faber at the KCAC individual tournament.

 

This past season these three helped lead Tabor to a third place finish in the KCAC standings with a record of 4-2 and an 8-6 record overall.  The Bluejays also finished with an impressive 6-1 record at home.
