Wichita, Kan. - The 2012 Tabor College men's tennis team's season came to an end at KCAC championship team tournament held at the Riverside Tennis Center in Wichita, Kan.

 

The third seeded Bluejays were swept by the second seeded Bulldogs of McPherson College 5-0 in the tournament semifinal putting an end to Tabor's bid for trip to the NAIA men's national tennis tournament.

 

Tabor fell in all three doubles matches before No. 1 singles player junior David Simmet and No. 2 junior Nathan Panttaja were defeated to end the duel and the Bluejays season. Once McPherson had reached five wins all other remaining matches were cancelled.

 

Tabor finished the regular season in third place in the conference standings with a record of 4-2 and overall record of 7-8. The Bluejays return all nine members of the 2012 team and will look to improve on its third place finish in 2013.
