Hillsboro, Kan. - The Tabor College Men's Cross Country Team placed sixth out of nine teams at the KCAC Conference Tournament race Saturday, hosted by Bethany College, in Lindsborg, Kan.

"I am really proud of how the guys performed today," said Head Coach Karol Hunt. "I could not ask any more of them."

Four out of five Tabor men ran personal record times, including senior Zac Remboldt (Topeka, Kan.) at 26:53 and sophomore Zach Gould (Sioux City, Iowa.), at 26:59.

Junior Dan Sigley's (Cheney, Wash.), 27:33, and sophomore Justin Balls' (Welda, Kan.), 28:22, were also personal records. Junior Ric Johnson (Hillsboro, Kan.), at 29:06, ran his second straight race under 30:00.

"The conference meet is what we work all season for," said Hunt. "It's a real positive for the program to have both teams compete so well when it really counts."

The Conference race closes a successful 2008 season for the Bluejays.
