North Newton, Kan. – The Tabor College men's tennis team finished the regular season in sole possession of third place in the KCAC standings after defeating rival Bethel College 5-4 Tuesday afternoon in North Newton, Kan.

 

With the win Tabor finished the 2011 season with an overall record of 8-8 and a KCAC record of 4-2 after picking up conference wins over Southwestern College, Friends University, Kansas Wesleyan University and Bethel College this year.

#2 Doubles: Vix/Dort defeated Tedone/Loganbill 8-2

#3 Doubles: J. Brucks/Reiswig defeated Dubach/Goodrich 8-4

#1 Singles: Simmet lost to Chlumsky 5-7 2-6

#2 Singles: Panttaja lost to Tedone 0-6 2-6

#3 Singles: Vix lost to Voth-Gaeddert 2-6 1-6

#4 Singles: Dort defeated Goodrich 6-3 6-0

#5 Singles: S. Brucks defeated Loganbill 6-0 6-3

#6 Singles: Reiswig defeated Dubach 6-1 6-2
